Story
Thanks for supporting our fundraising page. The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, and every one of them needs the best support from diagnosis through to recovery or unfortunately for some palliative and End of Life Care.
Throughout my nursing career I spent 34 years working in palliative care, working as a Macmillan Nurse for some of these years.
This challenge will be supported by many people. The Oak Pub Braithewaite will be playing a major role in the activities for the year bringing the community together as everyone is touched by cancer in some way or other.
Cumbrian Heavy Horses will be supporting this charity and helping out with some of the events.
Everyone joining will have their own reason for joining and many of the team will set their own challenges to help the overall challenge.
