Channel Swim 5 person relay.

During the week of 7-14th September, myself, Justin Fowler, Simon Bradford, Mark Gabriel and Harry Gabriel will be attempting to swim the English Channel. This swim is a relay, meaning that each of us will be swimming for an hour each, until we get to France, probably doing 3 or four swims each.

This is a non wetsuit swim. The sea temperature will be around 16 degrees.

We have all trained in lakes and the sea all year round to acclimatise to the conditions and we pray for flat seas and sunshine on our allotted slot !

The Charity myself, Justin and Simon are raising money for is a local Leighton Buzzard Charity. I am a co ordinator working for the charity, introducing my volunteers to support people who are at home with a life limiting condition, and also giving much needed respite to their families, who are able to go out, or even just have a sleep, while one of my volunteers watches over their spouse/ family member.
