Story
I’m proud to be taking part in the Great North Run 2026 for Worldwide Cancer Research. I’m doing this to help fund brand new discovery research into cancer research that could lead to better treatments and one day, cures.
This charity is also deeply personal to me. I lost my mam to bladder cancer when I was just 14 years old. Her diagnosis came as a huge shock, and losing her at such a young age changed my life forever. Cancer doesn’t just affect one person, it impacts families, children and loved ones in ways that last a lifetime.
By running, I want to honour my mam and help support the kind of research that could spare other families from the same heartbreak. Every donation, no matter how small, helps give hope for better treatments and outcomes in the future.
Any support would be hugely appreciated, thank you for helping me make a difference.
