With the news being filled with the atrocities happening in Gaza, the war in Ukraine, the ongoing refugee crisis and, closer to home, the cost of living crisis, I have been feeling sickened and helpless with the state of the world. I want to help in a meaningful way.

I have therefore decided to fundraise for Save the Children, a charity that believes that every child deserves a future. Both in the UK and around the world, they give children a healthy and safe start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. They do whatever it takes for children – every day and in times of crisis – transforming their lives and the future we share.
