We fund support, screening & research to help those affected by YSCD

Story

Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions.

With your donation, CRY can reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young.

By supporting CRY you will help save young lives from these potentially fatal cardiac conditions.

Personally this charity has been chosen as my nieces partner Os died age 31 whilst playing football less than a year ago leaving my 29 year old niece alone with their then one year old child Toby. They have naturally been devastated by the loss of Os and the horrendous grief that comes with such a devastating loss of life. I would like this opportunity to remember Os and pay tribute as well as keeping Charlotte and Toby in my thoughts whilst also trying to raise money for c-r-y.org.uk 🙏 Thank You so very much in advance for any donations - the challenge I have chosen is known as both Abrahams Tea Round and also George Fishers Tea Round and is a 30 plus mile Trail Run and Walk encompassing over 12000 ft of ascent around the Cumbrian hillsides which starts and finishes at George Fisher in Keswick
