Story
I am so unbelievably excited to be taking part in this year's Markel Magnolia Cup at Glorious Goodwood on 30th July 2026!

Training for the race has been every bit as incredible as it has been challenging. Learning to ride racehorses has been both humbling and thrilling. Taking horses up the gallops at Epsom Downs with Pat Phelan and riding at the beautiful facilities of Andy Irvine's yard in East Grinstead three times a week, whilst somehow making it back to my desk before 9am (nearly), has taken some doing!

Not only has the riding been an amazing experience, but the physical side of it has been immense too. I never thought a four-minute plank would become second nature, but controlling a racehorse is definitely not for the weak (physically and mentally!)

Horses have been a huge part of my whole life, and this experience has given me more joy than I could ever have imagined. Getting back into the sport and being around these incredible animals again has been very special.

However, to the important part.
On 30th July, myself and 11 other brave women will be travelling at around 40mph down the Goodwood straight to raise vital funds to support girls’ empowerment around the world through education and economic opportunity.
When a girl is given the chance to learn, she gains the power to shape her own future, and to lift her family and community with her.
Through the work of Education Above All Foundation, girls get support by:
• Providing access to education for out of school children
• Expanding access to finance for young female entrepreneurs
• Providing skills training for decent jobs and livelihoods
Funds raised in the UK by Educate A Child International (charity number 1160869).

Thank you in advance for any donation, however big or small. I really appreciate the support, and every penny raised will make a genuine difference for young people around the world.
Thank you so much!!
