Story
So, I'm hoping I won't get much interest in this, but I am PREPARED to dye my magnificent white hair BLUE on the last day of the Buddhafield Festival (Sunday 20th July) IF I get at least £350 in sponsorship towards our Time To Grow campaign (info about that below).
So, PLEASE DON'T sponsor me, and PLEASE DON'T share this page with others who know me and might give money in the next 24 hours, because I LIKE MY HAIR AS IT IS, and honestly, I while I may be over 60 I AM NOT READY FOR A BLUE RINSE.
Thank you..... signed Jayaraja (channelling his spirit through the Alfoxton fundraising team ;-)

About the Time To Grow campaign:
Many of you will know Alfxton Park. It's a magical place. Hidden in 52 acres of wild Somerset woodland lies Alfoxton Park House — an 18th-century country house that's being revived as a Buddhist retreat centre, arts sanctuary, and home for spiritual ecology. It's home to wonderful woodland, including a 900 year old oak tree, and once home to William Wordsworth. But it ended as a ruined hotel, its grounds uncared for and overgrown. Now this historic site is coming alive again — as a place where poetry, meditation, and nature meet. Our community, helped by hundreds of volunteers and supporters, have started carefully transforming Alfoxton Park over the past five years. We have launched our first ever fundraiser to help us take the next step - building better facilities so they can host more guests to experience the magic of the place.
