Our two young dreamers brave brambles and brickdust to make it a reality.

Just like our community and volunteers do.

Together over the last 5 years we have been renovating the ex-home of poet William Wordsworth and hosting retreats in this incredible ancient deer park.

What we're creating

Our vision is to craft a beautiful eco-retreat centre - supporting kindness, creativity and connection to nature.

It’s working! We’ve welcomed thousands to join us for retreats, workshops and events. Many say things like:

And we’ve done it based on Dana - open-handed generosity. We don’t charge for anything.

Now we need your help.

To welcome more people, our community is ready to build: 🥣 A bigger kitchen and dining room 🚿 More showers and toilets 🧘‍♀️ A meditation dome (bought already, in faith).

But we need the 💷 money to buy the equipment and materials* > 🪚

- 10 July: we've hit £5000+ after a few days. THANK YOU.

- 11 July: £20k anonymous donation! THANK YOU 🎉

- 13 July: £5k donation, we've OVER 25% in the first week!!!!

- 21 July: successful Buddhafield festival, including donations from people who came along to Alfoxton Cafe

- 25 July: the largest donation we were promised before the campaign began has come in, £25k, taking us over 1/2 the way to our goal! Thank you to the donor. Let's keep going.

- 30 July: technical issue with JustGiving offline donations log fixed. We're passed the £80k mark! Thank you everyone.

- 5 August: THANK YOU to everyone who donated! We hit £82,000 in 4 weeks! Enough to repay the Dome, and fund building the NEW KITCHEN (materials for roof, interior, plumbing, electrics). Not quite enough to fully pay for all the EQUIPMENT (fridges, ovens, dishwasher etc).

- We decided to EXTEND THE CAMPAIGN for two months - giving our fundraisers time to do their challenges and collect sponsorship, and more to join them.

- WHY NOT BE A FUNDRAISER? You can easily set up a sponsored event, just CLICK the orange button on the right to set up your own page and start fundraising for Time To Grow.

- Campaign now runs until October 6th: let's see if we can hit our £120k goal and fund the NEW SHOWER AND TOILET BLOCK.
