I am taking part in the "Blacklands Church Hastings Ride and Stride event" on 12 September 2026, joining the annual Ride & Stride to support my local church and the Sussex Historic Churches Trust.

This is a personal cycling challenge with a meaningful purpose. Historic churches, chapels, and meeting houses are treasured parts of our communities, but many need ongoing care and repair to stay safe and welcoming for future generations. Funds raised through this event help protect these beautiful buildings and support the vital work needed to preserve them.

On the day, I will be cycling on my exercise bike and aiming to complete over 6 miles while in church. I am fundraising with a target of £300, and every donation will make a real difference. Half of the money raised will support Blacklands Church in Hastings, helping with much-needed repairs, and the other half will go to the Sussex Historic Churches Trust.
