Your donation to The Christie Hospital - The Ella Project:

Cancers like ACC are difficult to treat and this means Loren has had very limited treatment options. The Christie Charity launched The Ella Project which is focused entirely on the cancer that Loren has. The project is named after Ella, who tragically died with ACC in December 2021.

The hospital has the UK’s leading specialist in ACC – Dr Rob Metcalf. Loren talked very highly of Dr Metcalf, he has supported her every step of the way.

Loren spent so much time travelling to and from The Christie Hospital in Manchester and it was here she received her chemotherapy in 2024. Loren loved the Full English at the hospital and loved a look around the shops. Without The Christie, she knew she would not have lived her best life during her six year battle with cancer and she is truly grateful.

My name is Jenna. I am married and a mum to two beautiful boys. I turned 40 in May 2024 and I felt it was time to achieve something in my life. I completely changed my lifestyle and slowly but surely, I started my running journey.

My challenge is to run 40 events across the UK to raise money for my life long best friend, Loren Stokes who was very poorly fighting ACC, an extremely rare form of cancer. Loren is my inspiration, she is that little voice in my head keeping me going! Without her, I'm running backward.

I am motivated by all of your generous donations with all proceeds going straight to Loren's chosen charities to help with life saving research.
