In April 2025 I completed my first marathon. I took part in the epic colourful Brighton Marathon on behalf of the amazing Salivary Gland Cancer Charity. Please keep your donations coming in as I continue my challenge for one of Loren's chosen charities.

Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma (ACC)
ACC is one of the more common types of salivary gland cancer. About one in ten of all salivary gland cancers are ACC. ACCs are difficult to cure with surgery or radiotherapy. This type of cancer has a high risk of returning later in life even with successful surgery. ACC is most likely to spread to the lungs, but it can spread to anywhere within the body.
Sadly for Loren, it did spread and it went into her lungs. She found it increasingly difficult to breathe and needed constant oxygen before she peacefully passed away at The Severn Hospice on Thursday 6th March 2025.
