🌊 Swimming Wild
I have always loved swimming, for as long as I can remember, in and outside. Sometimes for a challenge but mainly for the pure joy of floating about or crashing through waves :)
This year I’m taking on a big challenge, raising money for a great charity in a 10km open water swim through in Snowdonia, in Wales.
My only previous marathon swim was ten years ago on the river Dart. So - nervous, yes - but hey, the moon is helping us with some tide!
See nice swim and non-swim(!) spots in the gallery.
The Charity
Level Water is brilliant- it provides essential 1-to-1 swimming lessons for children with disabilities. Imagine the great freedom and fun this gives.
Swimming for children with disabilities is the biggest unmet need in sport. The water takes your weight; it’s a true leveller. It relieves pain and offers freedom and independence that many of our children never experience elsewhere.

Please, help make a genuine difference. Your sponsorship will change a child’s life forever. No amount is too big or small!
