We are proud to represent Horbury Pageant Players in the running of the Wakefield Hospice 10K on Sunday 22nd March 2026. We will be running in memory of the Wonderful Ken Sugden.

Ken was a member of HPP for over 20 years and embodied everything the society is about. Ken performed in countless productions in addition to tireless work behind the scenes.

His love for our group was evident in every role he undertook, whether he was on stage captivating audiences, designing our set, as a committee member, or ensuring everything ran smoothly front of house.

Ken’s talent was matched only by his kindness and generosity. He was a friend to all and was always the first to welcome new members. His unwavering commitment to our group created a sense of family among us that is sadly missed.

Wakefield Hospice provided outstanding care to Ken and support to his family. We are proud to raise funds for this fantastic cause who help so many families in their hour of need.
