Hello, my name is Jess and I am wanting to raise money for The Daisy Appeal, which is a Hull-based Charity supporting Dementia, Heart Disease, and Cancer. My mum was recently taken to hospital and sadly discovered she has Metastatic Cancer. Unfortunately, her cancer was very advanced and could not be cured. On 14th February 2023 my mum gained her angel wings and left us to be pain free in heaven. To show support and build awareness of this terrible disease that rips so many families’ lives apart I am wanting to shave my hair and raise some money for charity. They say cancer will affect 1 in 2 people during their lifetime. This statistic is shocking. If the Daisy Appeal is about one thing, it’s about saving local lives – keeping our loved ones with us for longer. They help improve the survival chances of thousands of people each year and give users of their services and their families a brighter future. I am kindly asking for you to donate a tiny amount to make a difference. I understand times are hard but pulling together as a community is what will see us through this
