🏃‍♀️ I’m running the London Marathon for Rainbows ❤️

I’m so proud to be taking on the London Marathon 2027 on Saturday as part of Team Rainbows — and making a little bit of history along the way as part of the first-ever Saturday London Marathon!

I’ll be running to support Rainbows and the vital care they provide for babies, children, young people and their families across the East Midlands.

For those who don’t know me, I’m a Paediatric Community Nurse, and through my work I see first-hand just how much it means for families to know that compassionate, specialist support is there when they need it most.

Rainbows remains vital for my patients — past, present and future. Some of the children I care for have already experienced the support of Rainbows, some continue to be supported by them, and for others, their journey with Rainbows is yet to begin.

Rainbows can be a lifeline for families — offering comfort, emotional support, precious time together and the opportunity to create lasting memories during some of the most difficult moments they may ever face. They also provide support in families’ own homes, helping them feel cared for wherever they are. That is why this challenge is so important to me.

I’ve set myself a huge fundraising target of £3,000, and I would genuinely appreciate any support towards reaching it. Whether you donate, share my page, leave a kind comment or simply cheer me on — it all means so much.
