In 2022 a very dear friend of our family died suddently at age 30 with a undiagnosed cardiac condition. Tim and I are taking part in this walk together with members of his family to raise funds and awareness of this charity and the vital work they do.

The Bridges Walk each year hopes to give supporters the opportunity to connect with others, and remember those who have died from Young Sudden Cardiac Death (YSCD).

Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions.

With your donation, CRY can reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young.
