Support My London Marathon Journey for The Haemophilia Society
I’m not a runner—far from it. But as my 50th birthday approaches, I’ve taken on the challenge of running the London Marathon to support a cause that’s incredibly important to me: The Haemophilia Society (THS).
My brother Jeremy was born with haemophilia, a rare condition that prevents blood from clotting. Jeremy has had to manage episodes of intense pain, arthritis effecting his mobility and joint replacement surgery.
Without THS Jeremy’s condition would have significantly worsened as they have supported him to stay active which has ensured his health is optimised.
For my parents, discovering Jeremy’s condition was a shock. THS became their lifeline—helping them navigate a complicated healthcare system, providing emotional support, and giving them a community where they could meet others who understood their struggles.
Now, it’s my turn to give back. I’m determined to raise vital funds so THS can continue their life-changing work for families like mine.
How You Can Help:
• Donate: Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference.
• Give Blood: Many people with haemophilia rely on blood donations for life-saving treatments. Donating blood is a simple yet powerful way to support this cause.
• Share This Page: If donating isn’t an option, spreading the word is just as impactful.
Thank you for supporting me and the incredible work of The Haemophilia Society! Together, we can make a real difference.
