I'm running the Bedford Running Festival to raise money for Girl Pack, a charity that provides free period products to people who need them across Milton Keynes and Bedfordshire.

As a primary teacher, I see first-hand that children are starting their periods at younger ages. No child should experience their first period and be unable to access the products they need. Something that can already feel confusing and overwhelming shouldn't be made harder because of financial barriers.

Period products aren't a luxury, but when budgets are stretched, they're often one of the essentials people go without. This can lead to missed school, work, sport, and everyday activities.

Your donation will help Girl Pack buy and distribute period products, keep community pick-up points stocked, and cover the practical costs of packing and storage. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference.
