Accessible Arts & Media 3 Peaks Challenge 2025

Jodie Jordan is raising money for Accessible Arts & Media

AAM Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge 2025 · 7 June 2025 ·

On Saturday 7th June, a team of staff and supporters from Accessible Arts & Media (AAM) are taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks.

Story

We'll walk 24 miles and scale Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres) and Ingleborough (723 metres) - all in under 12 hours.

Why are we doing the challenge this summer?

Our inspirational co-founder Rose Kent retired from AAM in April this year, after 35 years as Creative Director.

She wanted to do something to celebrate AAM and raise funds for the charity she's loved leading. As friends, family and colleagues, we were only too happy to join her!

Jodie has been working for the charity for almost 3 years and seen first hand the amazing impact our projects have! Rose is an inspiration and we want to do something to honour all the brilliant work she has done as well as continue to support the charity going forward!

George is teaming up with us to raise even more money, seeing all the hard-work that goes into making these projects happen.

We want to raise at least £1,000!

The money you donate will help make sure AAM can keep supporting people to feel happy, connected, creative and valued. And we think that's pretty AAM-azing!

Over 400 people a year take part in our creative learning and wellbeing programmes. They include adults and young people with learning disabilities, people with mental ill-health and people living with dementia.

They learn new skills, build the confidence to have more of a say in the things that matter to them, and connect with a supportive, friendly community.

And your support makes it all possible - thank you!
