Story
On Saturday 7th June, a team of Accessible Arts & Media (AAM) staff and supporters are taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks.
We'll walk 24 miles and scale Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres) and Ingleborough (723 metres) - all in under 12 hours.
Why are we doing the challenge this summer?
Our inspirational co-founder Rose Kent retired from AAM in April this year, after 35 years as Creative Director.
She wanted to do something to celebrate AAM and raise funds for the charity she's loved leading. As friends, family and colleagues, we were only too happy to join her!
Training's under way, we're stocking up on blister plasters and we've got a support crew ready to cheer us on and keep us fed and watered.
We set out to raise at least £1,000. Thanks to the incredible people who've sponsored us so far, we've set ourselves a new target of £2,000.
The money you donate will help AAM keep supporting people to feel happy, connected, creative and valued. And we think that's pretty AAM-azing!
