On the 4th of May this year, I lost my soul dog, Anfie, to a short illness. He was only 4. I was not prepared for the grief I felt.

I slotted in around his life, not the other way around, and he left a very large hole in my heart when he left.

Anfie had a profound impact on my life, and so l'm channelling that grief into doing something positive. All dogs deserve the love and care that Anfie received.

Hope Rescues mission is to provide a safe haven for vulnerable dogs, where they can heal, rehabilitate, and ultimately find loving homes. They are deeply grateful for the support they receive from the community, which allows them to continue their vital work.

I am running the Cardiff Half Marathon 2025 and with your help, I aim to raise as much as I can to further efforts in improving the welfare of all dogs.
