This year, Hope Rescue celebrates a huge milestone – 20 years of rescuing and rehoming dogs in need across South Wales and beyond. For two decades, we’ve opened our arms to the most vulnerable and at-risk dogs – from strays and abandoned dogs, and those needing to find a new home.
But as we look back with pride, we’re also facing one of the toughest years in our history.
In just the first three months of this year, over 300 dogs entered our care – an unprecedented number that’s stretching our resources to the limit. Every one of these dogs deserves a second chance, and we’re determined to give it to them – but we can’t do it alone.
That’s why we’re stepping up our fundraising in 2025 – and we need your help.

By supporting this campaign, you’re not just backing a run – you’re supporting:
- Emergency vet care for injured and sick dogs
- Safe shelter for abandoned strays
- Rehabilitation and training to help get dogs ready for their new homes
A second chance for every dog that comes through our doors
Every donation, no matter the size, helps ensure that no dog gets left behind.
As we celebrate 20 years of compassion, resilience, and community, let’s make this our most impactful year yet. Please support our #TeamHope runners and help us give every dog the future they deserve.
