I'm running the Royal Parks Half Marathon this October, fundraising to help GoodWork - a really lovely charity that helps 18-25 year olds from lower socioeconomic backgrounds build the skills, confidence and networks they need to get in to work.

Nearly one in four young Londoners is unemployed - the highest rate in the country - yet there's not nearly enough provision to help them access fairly paid work.

Since launching their first programme in 2023, GoodWork has supported over 150 young people to move into employment or education.

I'm running the Royal Parks Half Marathon this October to help GoodWork reach more young people, run more programmes, and continue working with employers and policymakers to create a fairer world of work.
