Abseiling Wainhouse Tower for St Augustine's

So, I'm going to be taking the scariest route down Wainhouse Tower from the top to the bottom; avoiding the over 300 steps to instead abseil all the way down.
I'll be doing this to support our fantastic Mayor, Councillor Ann Kingstone, in raising money for St Augustine's.

"On April 12th (or 13th or 27th depending on the weather) I will join the Mayor of Calderdale to take fundraising to new heights—literally!
Alongside other volunteers I will be abseiling down the iconic Wainhouse Tower, all in support of the St Augustine’s Centre, the chosen mayoral charity.
For over 50 years, St Augustine’s Centre has been a beacon of hope and support for refugees, people seeking asylum, and vulnerable migrants in Calderdale. With warmth and compassion, they provide practical assistance, legal advice, education, and a welcoming community to help individuals and families rebuild their lives with dignity.
The Mayor has chosen this incredible charity because of the vital role it plays in making Calderdale a place of sanctuary and solidarity. In a time when so many people face hardship and uncertainty, the support St Augustine’s Centre provides is more important than ever.
Every donation, big or small, will help fund this life-changing work."
