Joe has been fortunate enough to be selected to take part in the 2027 Somerset Scout SomerTrek Expedition.

This a fantastic opportunity to travel overseas for 2 weeks next summer with the Scouts, stopping in Germany, Italy and Switzerland. He will be staying in the International Scout centre in Kandersteg for a week along with 1000's of other Scouts from across Europe. He will have an opportunity to meet other Scouts and learn about Scouting in other cultures.

During the trip he will undertake a lot of walking! With the aim of completing a 2000m assent. A very physical challenge, but one Joe will embrace with gusto!

This trip is fully self funded and costs £2500 and so over the next year Joe will be fundraising to ensure his place on the trip. He will update this page so you can track his progress. All money raised on this page goes directly to Somerset Scouts and will help fund Joe's trip.
