I am a member of the Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Running Club, a group of runners who support the Red Cross and Ukraine. They started by running the Sheffield HM in 2022, hence the reference to that event here. Since joining I have raced 5 Marathons many half marathons including Great North Run in 2024 and 2025

As the conflict continues, we need your help to support people in Ukraine, as well as those who have been forced to flee to other countries, including the UK. The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) is the lead humanitarian organisation in Ukraine which is being supported by the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement with its response.
