Update: John, Glenn and Natalie finally completed their sky dive on 28 September! It was an amazing day supported by lots of family and friends. We were all so nervous for them but they were so positive and strong and absolutely loved it.

Due to adverse weather on Sunday 20 July and then again on 2 November, the sky dive has been postponed. To accommodate us all we have had to split into two groups: Keith, Sharon, Mike, Andy, Graham, Ross and Jason on 13 September (cancelled due to weather, now Sunday 5 April 2026) and John, Glenn and Natalie on 28 September 2025.

My husband John was diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer in October 2019 and our support group has played a vital role in coping with his diagnosis. Our group has gone from strength to strength and after a lot of hard work by our wonderful nurse Jeanette Smith and Committee we have now gained charity status. Apart from providing support for men diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer and their partners/carers one of our aims is to raise funds for much needed equipment at Maidstone Oncology Department to improve and support the treatment of those diagnosed with cancer.

John is committed to raising awareness of prostate cancer and funds for the charity so he and a group of amazingly brave friends are doing a tandem sky dive from 12,000 ft at Headcorn Aerodrome on 28 September 2025 and 2 November.
