Exercise can be more effective than medication when it comes to treating Parkinsons. Exercising for at least 2.5 hours a week can slow down the progression of Parkinsons or even reverse symptoms.
Exercise is vital for people with Parkinsons and can improve quality of life for those with the condition. It is also great for good health, can help to reduce anxiety and depression and offers opportunity to meet new people for mutual support.
We believe that exercise as a treatment for Parkinsons should be available to everyone, which is why we are raising money to fund Parkinsons Specialist Exercise classes throughout the UK.
Each class costs £5000 a year to run. We are funded by the generous public and so please support us today.
