I’m proud to be pulling on the Wimbledon jersey again and joining a great group of friends and supporters for a fundraising ride. It was too late to withdraw when I heard it was to Stevenage, 50 miles away!

Wimbledon shaped me as a player, but it’s the friendships and community that have stayed with me ever since.

Having raised my two daughters locally, I’ve seen first-hand the power of sport to inspire, build confidence, and create lifelong connections — something I’m especially grateful for as my daughter Willow continues her journey through AFC Wimbledon’s women’s and girls pathway.

That’s why I’m riding to support the brilliant work of the AFC Wimbledon Foundation, who transform lives across Merton through sport, education and community programmes.
