The Isaac Marathon
Campaign by NSPCC (RCN 216401 (England & Wales), SC037717 (Scotland))
We are a team of people whose lives have all been touched by Isaac, who we lost in tragic circumstances this year, aged just 15. We are running the London Marathon to raise funds for the NSPCC and support their work in keeping children safe.

Story

My lovely, younger cousin, Isaac died in February this year, aged just 15.

Isaac was a fantastic athlete and brilliant runner across country fields and on the track, and especially on the football or hockey pitch. He also understood deeply how small acts of kindness could make a big difference to those around him. It was therefore a natural step to bring many people together to run for a big cause.

We have decided to partner with the NSPCC, the UK's leading children's charity. Almost 70 of us, from across all aspects of Isaac's life, have committed to run the London Marathon and raise over £200,000 for the NSPCC, to fund specific initiatives that will help to fight these challenges.

Isaac was small but mighty. He had an oversized impact on the lives of those around him. He was bright and funny and thoughtful, but most of all he was kind. We are as privileged to have him as our inspiration as we are heartbroken by our loss. We run for Isaac, for kindness, and to be the change in the world that he would have been.
