Story
In January 2026 I’ll be braving the Arctic: battling sub-zero temperatures, dog-sledding, Nordic skiing, ice-fishing, orienteering and more — all to raise funds for the National Literacy Trust.
Every child should have the literacy skills they need to thrive. And this is a small way for me to make a difference.
Why the National Literacy Trust matters
Sadly, many children from disadvantaged backgrounds begin school far behind their peers — without books of their own, and without the basic reading and writing skills that open doors. The Trust works in schools, communities and with families to close that gap. Your donations will help give children the chance to unlock their potential and shape a better future.
What your support means
By sponsoring me, you’ll be helping fund vital literacy programmes — enabling vulnerable children to access books, improve reading and writing skills, and build confidence. Every donation makes a real difference.
What I’m doing
A four-day Arctic expedition inside the Arctic Circle.
My goal & how you can help
I’ve set a target of £2k — every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference. Please consider supporting me, sharing my page, or spreading the word.
Thank you for supporting a cause that matters to me 🙏
