Story
Charities like Breast Cancer Now facilitate world-class research and life-changing support of people with breast cancer. It is charities like this that helped my Mum live an extremely fulfilled and happy life for almost fifteen years after her original diagnosis.
This year, I am raising money so that other people can receive the level of care that my Mum received, and to move us towards a future without the impacts of breast cancer.
What am I doing to raise money? Great question! During the month of October, I will be attempting to run and hike at least 100 miles. I really don't consider myself much of a runner, so we'll see how that goes. Additionally, on 28th October, along with other members of the St Andrews Community, I will be wearing pink and hosting a pink theme bake sale. If you're in St Andrews, it would be great to see you dressed up too!

Breast Cancer Now's wear it pink day is one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK. Taking place in October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, thousands of amazing people will wear it pink in their workplaces, communities or schools to help make life-changing breast cancer research and support happen.
