Hello and welcome to our fundraising page!
I have chosen this charity in memory of Sam Morgan a great man loved by everybody who had the pleasure of meeting him who tragically passed away at Age 36 following a distinguished Royal Marines career including 3 tours of Afghanistan that left him suffering with PTSD and being let down by the country he served by a lack of support.
This hit the hearts of the full community of Guisborough, especially his young family with Sam leaving behind his wife & 3 young children all aged 3 or under to who this loss is simply unimaginable.
As Sam's family & friends push for reform for supporting our Veterans it is important to keep Sam's story at the front of people's mind.

As part of the FutureBAM and Forces@BAM Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on Thursday, 19th June 2025 a group of us have chosen to raise funds for the Scotty's Little Soldiers Charity.
Scotty's Little Soldiers is a remarkable charity dedicated to supporting children and young people who have experienced the death of a parent who served in the British Armed Forces. They offer vital emotional support, educational grants, fun activities, and opportunities for bereaved military children to smile again — helping them feel supported and understood as they navigate life without their parent.
Our goal is not just to push our limits and enjoy the breathtaking landscapes but to make a meaningful impact by supporting Scotty's Little Soldiers.
This incredible charity was chosen through a collaboration between FutureBAM and Forces@BAM, bringing together our FutureBAM network and our armed forces community to support a cause close to our hearts.
Every step we take and every pound we raise helps ensure these brave young people continue to receive the support they need and deserve.
