After hitting a wall with my mental health in 2022, I found help and support from Bath Mind who offered different types of services and activities to build up my confidence and strength. I joined a Snap and Stroll photography group and met up with a kind and supportive group with a passion for photographing and walking, a six-week creative writing group that opened up my mind to my own feelings and senses through words and poetry and a football fun group made up of all abilities to enjoy a kick about once a week with Bath City Football Club. Now I’m feeling mentally and physically stronger, my next step is to carry on building myself up whilst helping to support a great charity raise funds to give kindness and awareness to more people who may need it. Starting with a family fun run of 5k with a festive theme, I’d appreciate if you could sponsor my attempt to the Mental Elf run 2023 to further support Bath Mind in helping those who may be struggling mentally to a more comfortable mental wellbeing.

That's why Bath Mind are hosting their first ever Mental Elf fun run in 2023, and it’s going to be a ho-ho-whole lot of fun!

Taking place on Sunday 10th December, this Christmas-tastic family fun run is open to all ages and takes place along a 5km course at Odd Down Sports Ground.

As a local and independent mental health charity, Bath Mind are here to promote and nurture everyone’s mental health through the provision of information, activities, advice, and support.

Taking part in Mental Elf is a fun and enjoyable way to support both your own AND your community’s mental health and wellbeing.

By running and supporting this 5k fun run, you will help us provide support to everyone in Bath & North East Somerset who experiences mental distress or may be at risk of poor mental health.
