I live with axial Spa, (axial spondyloarthritis/ankylosing spondylitis). I have in my life experience pain and stiffness and had to manage flare ups. I also experienced a long delay in my diagnosis, which resulted in me living with fusion in my spine. With better awareness, and earlier access to new therapies, patients don't need to go through that same difficult journey - but they still do.

Through the amazing work that NASS does, this is changing. NASS provides incredible support to patients - oldies like me and those who are newly diagnosed. They work tirelessly to raise awareness of this disease with politicians, healthcare providers and the general public.
