EDC registered as a charity in 2009. We provide group and 1:1 therapeutic support for those living with dementia, we also provide information and support for the families of those living with dementia. In the last 15 years we have helped thousands of people to navigate their dementia journey, bringing purpose, enjoyment, and hope to their lives.

JR Revell Electrical Contractors are sponsors of Maldon Mud Race 2025 and six of our team have taken the opportunity to take part and raise money for local charities which are close to many families hearts. All donations received will be split equally between the two charities. Thank you

Jamie's family has recently experienced the care and support from local Dementia Charities.

Dementia certainly changes peoples lives but with understanding, help and support it doesn't have to stop. Essex Dementia Care offers one2one care with their "memory companions" and stimulating environments within their activity centres based local to Maldon.

We all know someone affected by cancer, Helen Rollason was born in Brentwood and a PE teacher before becoming a sports journalist, covering the Olympics in 1988 and the first female presenter of the BBC's sports programme Grandstand and presented on BBC News. She died at the age of 43 from colon cancer. Helen's cancer centres support clients with all all types of cancer at all stages, whether newly diagnosed or longer term. There is a Helen Rollason Centre at Hatfield Peverel.
