Story
Last week a major earthquake hit western Colombia, including both my hometown, Cali, and my wife's hometown, Manizales, which were both badly hit. The latest figures are grim: 280 people have died, more than 4,000 have been injured, and 143 remain missing. Rescue teams are searching rubble for survivors as aftershocks and damaged infrastructure complicate emergency response.
We will be hosting a sale of Colombian sweet bakes and empanadas on Tuesday, 25 August at Silks from 12-2PM.
