Story
I'm walking a mile a day (minimum) during March to raise funds for the MPS Society.
A mile a day is very easy for me to walk; but not so for Jacob, my eldest grandson, who has MPS Type 1, Hurlers Syndrome. At the end of last year, he had double reconstructive hip surgery and is now learning how to walk again. Every mile I walk during March, I will be thinking of him and his challenging road to recovery from this surgery.
The MPS Society are here to help and support children with MPS and their families with all aspects of this life limiting disease. Any money you can donate will be very gratefully received and will be put to good use.
(Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.)
