After 12 years of working at Alder Hey I have decided that, as a leaving gift, I will take on the Coniston Challenge in July to raise money for Alder Hey children’s hospital. The challenge consists of a 10k hike, 27k mountain bike and a 3k kayak. I will be doing this with the five wonderful friends (one of whom is my hubby and one who I met in the research department of Alder Hey). I think I may have gone mad but here goes….

We need to raise at least £2k between us so please give generously to an amazing cause!
