Story

So in 2017 as many of your are aware Kodi became the youngest person in the UK to cycle the coast to coast route unaided at just 6 years old. At the time this is something I was unaware of and looking back at the photo's I actually can't believe he completed the 150mile journey or tbf I even suggested we attempt it at such a young age 🙈. However he made it to the East coast with not a single complaint and in doing so raised over £500 for Brian House (something he was extremely proud of at the time). In the following years Kodi went on to complete another 3 long distance bike rides clocking up over 500 miles and raising money along the way for not only Brian House but Blackpool young carers the RNLI and even his own football team YMCA. However 2020 and all that came with it put a stop to any further plans of long distance bike rides or future adventures.... until now... On 2nd April 2023 Kodi now aged 12 is opting to ditch the bike and instead walk the 182 mile Wainwright Coast to Coast route. The route begins in St Bees on the West coast, crossing through 3 national parks, the Lake District , Yorkshire Dales and the Yorkshire Moors before finishing on the East coast in Robin Hoods Bay on the 13th April just 12 days later. Kodi has suggested that he would like to put his miles to good use and attempt to raise some money for a local charity along the way. After careful consideration Kodi has decided to go back to were it all started and chosen Brian House as his nominated charity. As we are all aware money is tight for everyone at this time and the words "charity begins at home" is something I'd probably be saying to myself reading this 🤣. However, whether it's a small donation to help him reach his target or a message of support in the comments, I'm sure both will spur him on 😊. Thank you in advance I'm sure we'll keep you updated along the way...
