Juliet's fundraiser for Together - Scottish Alliance for Children's Rights

Lakeland Trails Ultra 2025 · 12 July 2025 ·
I’m running 100km through the night for children’s rights – please support me if you can.
At midnight on 12th July, I’ll be setting off on the Lakeland Trails 100K Ultra – the furthest I’ve ever run. It’s a tough route: 100km of Lake District trails, hills, and probably a lot of rain, with over 3,000 metres of elevation (the equivalent of climbing Ben Nevis nearly two and a half times).
I’m doing this to raise funds for Together (Scottish Alliance for Children’s Rights), which works to ensure all babies, children and young people in Scotland have their rights respected, protected and fulfilled.
The run comes almost a year since the UNCRC (Incorporation) (Scotland) Act came into force – a major step forward shaped by the efforts of so many children, young people and the incredible organisations that make up Together. This is my way of marking that moment – and recommitting to the work ahead.
If you’re able to support with a donation, it would mean a lot. It’s never been harder to fundraise for Together – and yet we’re needed more than ever. Every contribution helps us keep up the momentum and keep pushing for change, especially for those babies, children and young people whose rights are most at risk.
Thank you.
