Tandem Skydive for Wag 2025

Wag & Company Tandem Skydive 2025 · 12 July 2025 ·
Welcome to my #TeamWag Skydive Challenge 2025 JustGiving page!
Hello, if you know me you’ll know that I used to get involved with various challenges. Cycling and running crazy distances multiple times and daft stuff like that, over the years I have raised lots of money for some great charities.
Well, five years ago I started a family and used this as an excuse to get lazy. This year I wanted to do something to raise money for a good cause, doing something that didn’t endure months of painless training to make me fit enough to meet the challenge.
Well, I’ve chosen to throw myself out of an aeroplane and meet my fear of heights. Thankfully there is only a little amount of physical training needed for this but bucket loads of mental strength.
If you know me you’ll know I hate going cap in hand for sponsorship but if you are kind enough to pop a few quid in the pot I’ll happily post the video on social media of me using gravity as my tool for motion. It should be a good laugh for everyone to watch but me.
Jeez, take me back to the old school days when being sponsored to suck a polo mint the longest was a thing.
Wag & Company is the only visiting dog charity to visit the elderly in their own homes as well as in care or medical establishments.
Our aim is to reduce loneliness in older dog lovers right across the North East of England and to ensure that no older person misses friendship and the company of a dog.
I will be helping to provide special Wag friends when I take part in the #TeamWag Skydive Challenge 2025 improving the lives of lonely elderly dog lovers in our region.
Since Wag started in 2016, Visiting Wag Teams have made nearly 160,000 friend visits benefitting over 2,250 people and making a world of difference with each visit.
A very big thank you to #TeamWag!
