Story
For funding needs and targeted projects, we have received countless requests from individuals and organisations on the ground asking for support.
We recognise the need and the tremendous impact of these smaller-scale activities and have experience working with smaller, grassroots organisations.
From brother Ahmet on the Ground:
"Brother there are many local charities that are here for a few weeks. But everyone is going to leave and people here are going to be stuck at one point. Now we are trying to reach people that haven't been getting help. We are pinpointing locations that are poor and unable to come and collect food and other needs like coal and wood to burn.
Everything we take now we are supplying from Ankara or Gaziantep city center with the funds we are collecting.
We are in need of funds to buy supplies and deliver to the locals.
We have delivered food, wood, coal, tents and, clothes to everyone we can reach.
We have a good supply food and water now and too much clothes.
What I'm aiming for is a stable food supply until the locals start working again and managing by them selves.
There are no work opportunities here for now and looks like it will take more time to turn back to normal.
So if we can help them out for some time until people start working again that would be great"

It is our duty to support our brothers and sisters affected by this tragedy. The scale of the damage is immense, with thousands of homes and city infrastructure collapsing, leaving countless people dead, injured and trapped in the rubble.
Not only is it a physical act of compassion, but donating to help those in need also holds immense reward with Allah.
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Charity does not decrease wealth," and "The best form of charity is to help a person in need." In this time of great need, every donation, no matter how small, can make a difference in the lives of those affected by this disaster.
As the situation on the ground continues to develop, it is a race against time to save lives. Let us come together to support our brothers and sisters affected by this tragedy. Please donate generously towards the Turkey Earthquake Emergency Appeal for AID.
Together, we can make a difference and bring comfort to those who have lost everything.
All donations will be distributed to people who are eligible to receive zakat.
