Story
We are skydiving from 15,000ft and need your support!
I’ve signed up with a friend to jump out of a plane on the 18 October 2026 to raise money for Rotherham Hospice — a cause that means so much to me.
In Memory of My Dad, Eddy
On 6 August 2026, we sadly lost my much-loved dad, Eddy.
During his final week, the Hospice at Home team provided extraordinary care, compassion and support, not only for my Dad but for our whole family. Their kindness, dignity and reassurance helped us through one of the most difficult times of our lives, and we will be forever grateful.
My Dad was a very loving husband, father, grandpa and friend who meant the world to us. He faced his journey with courage, and despite the huge sadness of saying goodbye, we are left with so many treasured memories and so much love.
To honour Dad's memory and to say thank you to the incredible team who cared for him, my friend Cass and I will be taking on a skydive in support of Rotherham Hospice.
Every penny raised will help ensure other families receive the same outstanding care, comfort and support when they need it most.
Thank you for helping us celebrate my Dad's life and continue his legacy through this special challenge.
For Eddy, always. ❤️
Rotherham Hospice is an independent charity that provides expert, compassionate end of life care — at home, in the hospice, and in the wider community. But they can’t do it without our help.
They rely on fundraising to keep these vital services running — and that’s why I’m taking the leap.
If you can spare anything at all, please donate. Your support means families facing the hardest times don’t have to go through it alone.
🧡 Thank you for helping me do something rother good.
