Story
I am embarking on a challenging journey to run and participate in 100 miles for the YMCA PKC 2026, a cause close to my heart. This run is not just a physical feat but a commitment to empowering our youth through teen leadership programs. These programs are vital in mentoring and developing our teens, equipping them with the skills and confidence they need to shape a brighter future. I am so proud and grateful to work for an organization that truly cares about their community, young and old. It's been exciting to dust off my running shoes after more than ten years to run the last leg our YMCA PKC's 100 mile run, ending at our Gordon Family YMCA branch in Sumner. The training has been an adventure to say the least and my best running buddy Sandi and I may not get there the fastest, but we WILL get there! :)
Our community's teens face numerous challenges, and it is imperative that we provide them with strong leadership opportunities and guidance. By supporting this cause, you are investing in the potential of young leaders who will drive positive change in our society.
I invite you to join me in this mission by contributing towards our goal of $1,000 USD. Every dollar brings us closer to making a lasting impact on the lives of these young individuals. Together, we can inspire hope and create pathways for success. Please support the 100-Mile Run | YMCA PKC 2026 today and help us build tomorrow's leaders.
