Story
As many of you know, I’ve worked in care for the past 41 years, supporting wonderful people with a wide range of health concerns — most often those living with dementia. Dementia, including Alzheimer’s, gradually takes away a person’s identity and personality.
A week ago, a colleague and I decided to take action and signed up for the Trek26 Alzheimer’s Walk, pledging to complete the 13-mile Stonehenge route. We’re walking to help fund vital research into this devastating disease and bring us closer to finding a cure.
If you’re able, I would be so grateful for any donation — big or small — to support this incredible cause. Together, we can make a difference for those affected by Alzheimer’s.
