Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am excited to share with you the cause I am fundraising for - Target Ovarian Cancer. This organization is dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by ovarian cancer through research, support, and awareness.

18 months ago I was told I had Ovarian cancer. The diagnosis was followed by surgery and 4 months of chemotherapy. I am regaining my fitness and doing well. Now I want to help improve the care for the 2 in 100 women who may receive a diagnosis in the future.

There is currently no screening available, and the symptoms are vague, and often overlooked until the disease has progressed.

During March 2024, I will be challenging myself to walk 100 miles to raise funds and awareness for this important cause. Ovarian cancer is a devastating disease that affects thousands of women every year, and it's time we take action.
