Please join me in celebrating and supporting Friendsgiving this year at Dolores Mission.

Dolores Mission School is not your average Catholic School. It is a TK-8 school committed to serving low-income families. DMS currently serves 200 children, and together with family, strives to educate the whole child in a nurturing environment: academically, spiritually, physically, and morally. As an integral part of a Jesuit parish, its goal is to empower our children to break generational cycles of poverty and violence by becoming educated leaders in their community, “women and men for and with others.”

As you know, I have been here for 17 years, and not only am I a proud president and past principal, but I am a current DMS parent. DMS, DMC, and the local community of Boyle Heights have left a huge impact on my work as a leader and spirituality always following the mantra "being a woman for and with others."
