On Saturday 18th May 2024 I've decided to face one of my biggest fears and jump out of a plane in order to give back for the amazing ongoing and continuing care I've had from the amazing team at The Christie :)

For those of you who know me, you know my story. For those who don't, here it is in a nutshell…

I was diagnosed with an aggressive tangerine-sized brain tumour two days after my 4th birthday. I had surgery to remove as much as possible, followed by radiotherapy to kill the cancer (which was a success) and have been left with mobility issues, hormonal problems, left-sided spasticity and some cognitive difficulties. I do use a crutch when walking and have to use a wheelchair (named Lady Penelope) on bad days and for long distances.
