I have always wanted to climb Mount Fuji and this June I am finally doing it! It has occurred to me it would be silly to not try and raise money for a good cause in the process.

The good cause in question I have chosen is The Usual Place. Based in Dumfries (Scotland), The Usual Place is a community cafe that employs and provides training for young disabled individuals in the community.

Long story short I have been blown away by how much the experience benefitted my sister and I observe every time I visit how much it means to these lovely individuals that they are truly being given a chance to feel a part of their community. Establishments like The Usual Place should be norm.
